The Melbourne Grand Prix is located in Albert Park so quite unique (although some of the greener locals rue the day this race came to their city!). It’s one of the most relaxed and happy races of the year with a very enthusiastic crowd and brilliant public transport with trams operating to both gates 1 and 10. Several of the hotels which can be booked via LSA are walking distance from the track. Lots of great viewing with the stands named after world champions – Piquet, Brabham, Senna are all great or perhaps take a punt and try the Webber stand. Just a question of time before there is also a Ricciardo stand! A great race to visit – lots of restaurants, bars and a beach all within walking distance.

Due to its location in a valley, the circuit was designed as a stadium with fantastic views of the track. Tickets here are especially good value as cheaper than most other tracks. It is always a great race but drivers are exhausted by the end due to the high humidity and heat.
2017 FORMULA 1 EMIRATES JAPANESE GRAND PRIX

Suzuka is one of the last of the classic circuits and a great favourite with drivers. It’s a wonderful spectator experience as the crowd is quite different to any other race, tremendous fun and little can beat watching the cars at Degner curve. The track is located in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Mobilityland Corporation, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. Ltd. It has a capacity of 155,000. Accommodation is limited and expensive and taxis not cheap. It’s easier and cheaper to stay in Yokkaichi which is 30 minutes away then take the Kintetsu train to Shiroko station then the shuttle bus to the track. Great atmosphere and fabulous crowd.
